About Me

Originally from Rivière-du-Loup, Québec (the small town from the picture above), I'm now a senior at Harvard studying Computer Science - Mind, Brain & Behavior, along with a secondary in Economics and a citation in Spanish. I'm interested in the intersection of computer science and neuroscience, and in using my skills for technology and business to drive meaningful change in the world. Global citizen and environmental advocate, I am passionate about product management & software engineering in the spheres of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, both of which I firmly believe will radically change the way we live. A bit more about me, I'm a twice TEDx speaker, enthusiast traveler and concert-goer, aspiring guitarist, experienced badminton player, retired lifeguard, average poker player, and existentialist philosopher at times.

Program Manager Intern May 2019 - August 2019

Ideated, researched, designed and spec-ed File Services for integration in Windows Admin Center, including failover clusters, Azure Files, SMB & NFS shares and DFS. Worked with devs & design to produce 100+ wireframes for a powerful end-to-end UX affecting thousands of users. In my day-to-day work, I would meet with the wider PM team I was part of to refine the product vision, iterate on the specs and the UI mockups, and meet with the design and engineering teams to keep the product moving forward. In the end, the project was meant to be a small feature in Windows Admin Center and grew to be at the front of the entire tool, making it one of the largest intern projects that summer.

Premier Tech

Data Science Intern May 2018 - August 2018

Ideated and developed a data pipeline from scratch, collecting >66,000 data points, and a deep learning image classification model for automated product quality analysis for Premier Tech Chronos' industrial machines using image recognition technology. The main task consists in building a data pipeline and large datasets of products at various quality level and then training a convolutional neural network (CNN) using the TensorFlow framework and Keras API to learn to recognize a product's quality level and be able to detect defective products without the need or intervention of a machine operator so to increase the productivity of Premier Tech's machines and reduce operation costs. Achieved >96% accuracy, without false negatives, and reduced machine downtime by 33%. Presented to CTO, CFO & engineering directors.

Harvard University

Course Assistant & Peer Tutor September 2017 - Present

Served or serving as course assistant for CS50 - Introduction to Computer Science, CS51 - Functional Programming, and Harvard Kennedy School Python Pilot, an introductory programming class in Python for government students. The course assistant job consisted of helping students in their problem sets and studying, holding office hours to answer questions, teaching introductory computer science concepts in C, Python3, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, OCaml, and grading exams.

Polyvalent and fast learner, I have a diversified skillset. On the technology side, I have experience with a wide range of simple and complex algorithms and datastructures and data analysis techniques. I have had in-depth exposure to quantum computing and artificial intelligence, two of the most promising and fascinating technologies, building a rudimentary self-driving car and a quantum error-correction software. I also have developed a strong background in public speaking, business strategy, product management and entrepreneurship through my work with Microsoft, Methanergics, TEDx and the various business conferences I have attended. My main languages and tools are listed down below and the source code for this website can be found here.

  • Python
  • Technical Product Management
  • UI Desin/Figma
  • Matlab
  • R
  • OCaml
  • HTML & CSS
  • IBMQ & QuTiP
  • C
  • JavaScript
  • Keras/Sk-Learn

I have been gifted with the opportunity to speak at two TEDx events. Public speaking is always a
great way to share ideas and witness people's excitement in the face of novelty and I seize every
opportunity I get to do so. Check out my talks!
